Iran’s Foreign Ministry: Iran has not received Trump’s message regarding nuclear talks

Iran has not received any message from U.S. President Donald Trump proposing negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said.

“No, we have not received it,” Baghaei said in response to a journalist’s question.

On March 7, Trump wrote on his Truth Social page that he had sent a message to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, proposing to negotiate over Tehran’s nuclear program. In response to the U.S. leader’s statement, Khamenei noted that Iran will not negotiate with the U.S. as Washington only takes into account its own interests.
