Russia expects that the humanitarian situation in Karabakh
will improve and favorable conditions will be created for Baku and Stepanakert
to enter into a dialogue. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova
said this.
As Zakharova stated, Russia expects that parallel to the
opening of the Aghdam route, the Lachin corridor will also be unblocked in the
near future.
“Russia expects that it will be possible to regularly send
humanitarian aid to Karabakh via both routes,” Zakharova said. She added that
Russia is taking measures to improve the serious humanitarian situation facing
Nagorno-Karabakh.
