China hopes Armenia and Azerbaijan can resolve differences through dialogue and negotiations

China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the process of peaceful resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“The Chinese government welcomes the positive developments in the peaceful settlement of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Both countries are important states in their region and reliable partners of China. China sincerely hopes that they can resolve their differences through dialogue and negotiations, contributing to long-term peace and prosperity in the region,” the ministry said in a statement.
