Arman Tatoyan: Azerbaijan concentrates special military units along the border with Armenia and Artsakh
Our studies show that the Azerbaijani authority also
concentrates special military units (Yashma and Commando) along the border with
Armenia and Artsakh. This is the same policy as before September 27, 2020, Former
Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia Arman Tatoyan writes.
“These divisions during the 2020 April 4-day, 2020 44-day
and September 13-14, 2022 wars, initiated by Azerbaijan, committed crimes with
particular cruelty (torture, dismemberment of bodies, etc.).
These armed units are perpetrators of war crimes and none of
them have been punished, they are sponsored by the highest authorities of
Azerbaijan.
At this moment, we are carrying out the more thorough
verification of evidence to establish Azerbaijani crimes, their intentions and
the state policy,” Tatoyan wrote.
