
Georgia’s president 1st to visit to Azerbaijan, then to Armenia
Mikheil Kavelashvili, the newly elected sixth president of Georgia from the ruling Georgian Dream party, will visit Azerbaijan in mid-April, followed by a trip to Armenia later on.
Information about Kavelashvili’s planned visits was shared by his advisor on international relations, Luka Ekvakhia.
The leader of Georgian Dream, Irakli Kobakhidze, has also visited both countries following the 2024 elections. On March 20, he visited Yerevan and attended the football match between Armenia and Georgia.
