A few days ago, members of the Civil Contract party were
invited to another feast. Against the backdrop of tensions along the border,
three casualties incurred a few days ago, the threat of a new war looming on
the horizon, the ruling party was having fun and even campaigning at Mikayel
Mikayelyan’s wedding. The latter is MP Vilen Gabrelyan’s assistant.
High-ranking officials — for example Chief of Staff to the
Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan — attended the wedding party.
Such feasts are not something of a novelty for “new
Armenia”.
