Zelenskyy says Chinese soldiers fighting for Russia captured in Donetsk
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Chinese soldiers are also fighting on behalf of Russia in the eastern part of the country. Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian military forces recently captured two Chinese soldiers.
“Our servicemen engaged in combat with six Chinese individuals in the Donetsk region, two of whom were successfully captured. Unlike North Korean soldiers, the Chinese are participating not in Russia, but in military operations taking place specifically on Ukrainian territory,” Zelenskyy stated.
He noted that China has thus become the third country, following Iran and North Korea, to openly support Moscow.
“I believe that, in light of today’s news, Americans should reconsider their approach toward Ukraine,” Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
