Armenian artist Raffi Tutukyan assaulted in Lebanon

Artist Raffi Tutukyan has been assaulted in Lebanon. Sources from the Lebanese outlet Arevelk report that the incident occurred in the New Marash neighborhood of Bourj Hammoud, an area with a significant Armenian population where Tutukyan resides and works.

According to the source, the attack on the Armenian artist followed a dispute. Two armed individuals approached and brutally beat him after an argument with one of them. After the assailants left, Raffi was taken to the hospital. It has been reported that his life is not in danger.
