Ukraine, UK, Germany, and France talks end in London
Negotiations between the representatives of Ukraine, the U.K., Germany, and France have concluded in London. During the talks, steps to establish a fair and sustainable peace in Ukraine were discussed, Korrespondent.net reports, citing the Office of the Ukrainian president.
As noted, the meeting held in London is a continuation of the negotiations that took place last week in Paris. The event was held at the official residence of the UK Foreign Office, at the invitation of British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
On the Ukrainian side, the participants included Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak.
From the European countries, participants included British National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell, French President’s Diplomatic Adviser Emmanuel Bonne and German Chancellor’s Foreign and Security Adviser Jens Plötner.
“The parties reaffirmed their commitment to U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace initiatives to end the war as soon as possible and establish a fair and sustainable peace. The participants of the London meeting agreed to continue dialogue and regular communication with the main goal of establishing a stable peace in Ukraine,” the publication states.
