People killed in flooding in Turkey
At least four people have died in flooding caused by
torrential rains in the central regions of Turkey. People sustained injuries;
there are people, including a child, reported missing.
On Saturday, the Turkish State Meteorological Service had
warned the population about the heavy rainfall expected in many provinces of
the country.
Most of the victims died while in their cars. The cars were
flooded.
Seven people got injured in Aksaray. As a result, roads have
been damaged. Rivers and even streams have overflowed their banks.
