Clashes near Damascus leave casualties

Clashes have taken place near the city of Jaramana, close to the Syrian capital, involving Syrian security forces and Druze self-defense units, Syria TV reports.

As noted, intense gunfire occurred near neighborhoods of Jaramana overnight. However, officials have not provided details about what triggered the clashes in the city.

At least 13 casualties are currently reported.
