Netanyahu’s visit to Azerbaijan postponed
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Azerbaijan has been postponed, Azerbaijani media writes, citing the Israeli Prime Minister’s office.
“In light of the events in the Gaza Strip and Syria, as well as a busy schedule of political events and security measures, Netanyahu has decided to postpone his visit to Azerbaijan to another date. The prime minister expressed his gratitude to President Aliyev for the invitation and highly appreciated the warm relations between the two countries,” reads the statement.
Earlier reports indicated that Netanyahu was scheduled to visit Azerbaijan on May 7 and the visit was expected to last until May 11.
