Qatar comments on Trump’s gift of super-expensive plane

Ali Al-Ansari, Qatar’s media attaché, told Politico that Qatari authorities have not yet decided whether to give U.S. President Donald Trump a $400 million Boeing 747-8.

According to Al-Ansari, the issue is currently being discussed, and a final decision has not yet been made.

Earlier, the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), citing sources, reported that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is preparing to accept a Boeing 747-8 aircraft as a gift from the Qatari royal family.

According to the TV channel, Qatar may hand over the plane next week. Trump had already inspected the plane when it landed at West Palm Beach Airport in February.
