End the wars, says Pope Leo XIV in 1st Sunday message

Pope Leo XIV has delivered his first Sunday address to the world, calling for an end to wars across the globe.

Speaking to thousands of faithful gathered in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV urged efforts to achieve lasting peace in Ukraine and Gaza. He said he is praying to God to grant the world “the miracle of peace.”
