Zelenskyy to send delegation to Istanbul for talks with Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that he will send a delegation to Istanbul for negotiations with Russia.
The delegation will be led by the country’s defense minister.
“We cannot see among the members of the Russian delegation those who actually make decisions. Nevertheless, out of respect for Trump, Turkey, and Erdoğan, and with the desire to attempt to reach an agreement and take the first steps toward de-escalation, I have decided to send our delegation to Istanbul,” Zelenskyy said.
