EU not to do military drills with Armenia yet but to discuss support in “non-lethal” format
The European Union does not plan joint military drills with
Armenia. Lead Spokesperson for the External Affairs of the EU Peter Stano said
this to Izvestiya.
“The European Union is not a military alliance, but a
community of political and economic values,” he said.
Moreover, it does not intend to train Armenian servicemen in
any of the EU member states either.
The EU considers the possibility of providing support to the
Armenian army in a “non-lethal” format, but a decision on this has not been achieved
yet.
