Israel launches intense strike in Gaza with dozens of casualties reported

At least 43 people have been killed in Gaza following strikes carried out by Israel on Tuesday night, Al Jazeera reports.

As noted, the heaviest hits targeted Gaza City and the central areas of the enclave.

Al Jazeera reports that, as a result of Israeli shelling in Gaza on Monday, 126 people have been killed.
