Resistance without an alternative: Even the Opposition doesn’t believe in impeachment

The impeachment process, which has not yet even started, is heading toward an unsuccessful outcome. Everyone talks about the need to bring down the current leader, but the process is initiated by former officials, and a political figure who was under the direct supervision of the incumbent prime minister just a year ago is being proposed as a candidate for the new prime minister. Edmon Marukyan’s candidacy, as a tool to oust Pashinyan, has already raised serious questions.

The opposition is against Marukyan’s candidacy, but instead, they do not propose any other name, claiming they have no candidate for prime minister. Resistance—without an alternative: a political vacuum or a systemic game.
