Foreign powers won’t save us, says Kavelashvili
We must understand once and for all that hopes are in vain that some foreign power will come and save us, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili said during celebrations of Georgia’s Independence Day.
According to the Georgian president, for centuries, the country, located at the easternmost tip of Europe, has bravely defended Christian and European values on its own.
“Today, I want to note that we are ready to cooperate with Europe, but this cooperation will be based on equality,” Kavelashvili stated.
