France has no moral authority to give Iran instructions, says Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded to his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot with an X post, after Barrot described Iran’s authorities as “autocratic.”

“Numerous violations have occurred, making France’s ‘human rights protection’ activities a subject of ridicule. But perhaps nothing has exposed hypocrisy more than France’s approach to the Israeli regime and its war crimes. Spare us, Iranians, your sermons. You have no moral authority,” Araghchi wrote.
