200,000 Indian tourists cancel visits to Turkey

Following tensions in India-Pakistan relations and Turkey’s support for Pakistan, relations between India and Turkey remain strained, Ermenihaber reports.

Along with a boycott against several Turkish products, the flow of Indian tourists to Turkey has significantly decreased.

As noted, already 200,000 Indian tourists have canceled their trips to Turkey, and early bookings have dropped by up to 300%.

Additionally, preparations for luxurious weddings of Indian billionaires in Istanbul, Antalya, and Bodrum have also been canceled.
