On Aug. 29, Azerbaijan announced that it was sending 40 tons
of flour to Artsakh. The statement, of course, was not given a welcome. It was
clear from the very beginning that the people of Artsakh would not allow the
cargo to enter Artsakh through the Akna road.
Moreover, a day before the so-called “humanitarian aid” set
off to Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan had convened an emergency NA meeting. After
a six-hour meeting, he stated that the bread shortage would be solved. A few
hours after his statement, the Azerbaijani trucks set off, and Artsakh InfoCenter
announced that daily, a loaf of bread will be available per family on account
of flour shortages.
