Turkey calls for expelling one delegation from talks in Istanbul

Turkey’s main role in the new negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul should be to prevent the entry of the EU delegation, which supports the continuation of the war, Turkish media reports.

“Turkey should emphasize peace and prevent Europeans who wish for the continuation of the war in Ukraine from entering. This is important for both regional stability and for positively affecting Turkey’s relations with the two countries,” media reports say.

According to the newspaper, the increase in EU defense spending and threats against Russia do not contribute to peace and create negative attitudes among European residents.
