
Houthis again target Israel’s airport with ballistic missile
The Houthis have again targeted Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport with a ballistic missile, Armenpress reports, referring to Al Masirah TV channel, which is affiliated with the Houthis.
The Houthis stated that the operation successfully reached its target.
Aircraft arriving at Ben Gurion Airport have circumvented the Mediterranean Sea and temporarily canceled their routes.
Following air raid sirens in several parts of Israel, many residents sought shelter in bomb shelters. Videos circulating on social media show residents panicking and rushing to hide.
The IDF press service reported that the military intercepted another missile launched from Yemen, and air raid sirens were sounded in several regions of the country.
There are reports that Lufthansa Group has extended the suspension of all flights to Israel until June 22.
On June 1, Yemen’s armed forces carried out four military operations targeting Ben Gurion Airport and key sites in Jaffa, Ashdod, and Umm al-Rashrash.
The Houthis continue such actions in support of the Palestinian people, demanding that Israel cease the Gaza blockade and military operations.
