At the annual Conference of Ambassadors, Minister of Europe
and Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna stated that Paris is channeling
efforts into establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“It will allow the two countries to draw a line of border
demarcation and will give the people of Nagorno-Karabakh the opportunity to
live in their homeland, thus respecting their rights, culture and history.
Azerbaijan’s “strangling” policy aimed at bringing about a mass exodus of
Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh is illegal, as already stated by the
International Court of Justice. Moreover, this is an immoral act,” she said.
