Spokesperson for Artsakh president: There has been no agreement on receiving humanitarian aid from Baku

Today, Azerbaijan disseminated information about humanitarian
aid sent from Baku to Stepanakert through the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society.
However, this was not discussed with the Artsakh side. Spokesperson for the
president of Artsakh Lusine Avanesyan said this to Artsakhpress. She added that
this move was most probably aimed at exacerbating the problem, rather than
solving it.

“The issue of using the Kashatagh (Lachin) corridor
under the established regime has been our top priority. Thus, any dialogue with
the Azerbaijani side must be built around this issue. Free, unimpeded and
two-way movement for people, cargo and vehicles throughout the corridor must be
ensured. If the Azerbaijani authorities are really interested in defusing the
terrible humanitarian crisis facing the people of Artsakh and averting genocide,
they must merely not prevent movement of goods to Artsakh, as stated in the
tripartite Statement of November 9, 2020 and the Orders of the International
Court of Justice,” Avanesyan noted.
