20-year-old’s body caught in web of political intrigue
The Red Cross’s efforts to transport Helen Dadasyan’s body
to Artsakh are coming to nothing. Helen died in the tragic road accident that
occurred on the highway from Yerevan to Gyumri. According to ABC Media’s
sources, the Red Cross is now “caught in the crossfire”.
Because of the demands put forward by Azerbaijan, the Red
Cross is unable to transport Helen Dadasyan’s body to Artsakh.
In the meantime, Commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent,
Col. Gen. Alexander Lentsov assured the family that they would deal with the
issue if the Red Cross failed to conduct its mission.
According to our sources, the delegation of the Red Cross in
Armenia is not willing to address this issue. However, they are presented with
an ultimatum: if they refuse to deal with the issue, their operation in the
Lachin corridor will be stopped, and they will have to leave it.
