IAEA resolution to complicate Oman talks with US, says Araghchi
The resolution adopted by the IAEA Board of Governors, criticizing Tehran, will negatively impact the sixth round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States scheduled for June 15 in Muscat, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated.
“These negotiations will take place under the shadow of the recently adopted IAEA resolution, which complicates dialogue. But we are determined to defend Iran’s rights and achievements in the nuclear field,” he said.
Earlier, on June 12, the IAEA Board of Governors approved the resolution, according to which Iran is not fully complying with its nuclear obligations.
