Russia transfers 6,060 bodies of soldiers to Ukraine, says Russian presidential aide

Russia has handed over 6,060 bodies of killed soldiers to Ukraine, Russian Presidential Aide and head of the Russian negotiation delegation Vladimir Medinsky told reporters.

“Overall, 6,060 bodies of killed officers and soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces have been transferred to the Ukrainian side,” he wrote on Telegram.

Medinsky also stated that Russia has received 78 bodies from Ukraine.

The official stated that the exchange of POWs between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing. Additionally, arrangements have been made for the urgent medical evacuation of seriously wounded from the frontline between Russia and Ukraine.
