Lavrov and Bayramov hold phone call on situation in the region

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a phone call. The officials discussed the security situation concerning the Israel-Iran conflict, as well as issues of bilateral and regional cooperation between the two countries.

The parties expressed serious concern about the situation in the region resulting from the confrontation between Israel and Iran and emphasized the importance of diplomatic resolution of the conflict. In conclusion, the heads of the foreign ministries exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
