The heart cannot be separated from the soul, nor Turkey from Azerbaijan, says Erdoğan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reaffirmed his support for Azerbaijan in a post on X.

“We are two states of one nation who pray under the same flag, shed tears on the same prayer rug, and give our lives for the same independence—with children who share one heart,” Erdoğan wrote.

“The heart cannot be separated from the soul, nor Turkey from Azerbaijan…” he added.
