The Pan Armenian Council of the Western USA staged a protest
outside the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles. U.S. Congressmen
Adam Schiff and Brad Sherman made speeches as well.
The protesters called on the Biden administration to take
practical steps toward lifting the blockade and averting the second genocide
against Armenians.
Referring to the 120,000 people besieged in Artsakh, Brad
Sherman noted that Azerbaijan has choses the worst weapon of war crimes, i.e.
starvation.
We are watching a humanitarian catastrophe unfold in
Artsakh. We must hold the Aliyev regime accountable and end U.S. military
assistance to Azerbaijan,” the congressman made an X post after the protest.
