Iran keeps in contact with US, says Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that Iran is receiving messages from the U.S. through various channels and will respond through mediators if necessary.

Araghchi noted that after the U.S. strikes, Iran has fewer reasons to trust the West. According to him, Tehran no longer understands who it can negotiate with.

Regarding the possibility of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s foreign minister stated that the country is considering all scenarios.

The minister also stated that he plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 23.
