Zelenskyy arrives in UK to meet with King and PM

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United Kingdom, where he will hold meetings with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, King Charles III, and the speakers of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

The discussions will focus on new measures to curb Russian aggression and joint defense programs.

Zelenskyy stated that the purpose of the visit is to increase pressure on Russia and to achieve a halt to attacks.

“Today, during my visit to the United Kingdom, I will discuss our defense with partners, which must become a much stronger foundation for joint defense. We will also agree on new and stronger steps to exert pressure on Russia and stop the strikes,” Zelenskyy said.
