At least 26 flights to UAE and Qatar land at other airports

Due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East, at least 26 flights heading to the UAE and Qatar have been redirected, CNN writes.

According to data from Cirium, an aviation analytics company, 22 aircraft were en route to Doha, while the remaining flights were heading to Dubai. Some of the flights have been rerouted to different airports along their routes, and others have returned to their departure airports.

Additionally, it is expected that 39 flights from North America and 210 from Europe will depart later today heading toward the Middle East. However, these flights may be canceled if the airspace remains closed.
