Macron and Merz have completely lost common sense, says Lavrov

Macron and Merz have completely lost common sense and appear to be trying to return to the times when France and Germany sought to conquer all of Europe, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following talks with his Kyrgyz counterpart, according to RIA Novosti.

“I believe that their statements alone are more than enough for anyone who has even a basic understanding of what is happening in Europe and who follows current events to see that these figures have entirely lost common sense and are openly attempting to return to a time when France and Germany wanted to conquer Europe—first and foremost, the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union,” Lavrov stated.
