Ararat Mirzoyan has phone call with Iran’s foreign minister

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on July 1, Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

The sides discussed recent regional developments. Minister Mirzoyan expressed hope that the established ceasefire would be lasting and would create a genuine opportunity for negotiations.

Mirzoyan and Araghchi also discussed issues related to cooperation on multilateral platforms.

During the call, there was also a focus on cooperation between the two neighboring and friendly countries in crisis situations.
