On Aug. 22 and Aug. 23, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan
had closed meetings with a number of political and public figures. Spokesperson
for the president of Artsakh Lusine Avanesyan said this to Artsakhpress.
According to the spokesperson, humanitarian and security
problems caused by the total blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan were discussed
during the meetings. Other issues, regarding the actions to be taken by the
Artsakh authorities and various mediation proposals aimed at handling the
situation, were also discussed.
“No decision has been made yet. Discussions are
underway. President Harutyunyan will soon personally present the overall
situation and the position of the authorities,” Avanesyan said.
