Jerusalem Square named after photographer who survived Armenian Genocide

Jerusalem Square has been named after Elia Kahvejian, a photographer who survived the Armenian Genocide.

Elia Photo-Service, the photo atelier he established in 1949, is located in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Currently, the photographer continues to uphold the photographic traditions of his father, Gevorg Kahvejian.
