Houthis sink ship in Red Sea

Houthi Spokesperson Yahya Saria said the group attacked the cargo ship Magic Seas passing through the Red Sea.

According to him, the ship sank, but the crew was evacuated. The attack was reportedly due to the ship violating the ban on entering Israeli ports.

“Yemeni naval forces, missile forces and drones attacked the Magic Seas vessel, which violates the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine,” Saria wrote on Telegram.

He noted that the ban on ships passing through Israel’s Eilat port will remain in effect as long as Israel continues the war in Gaza and prevents humanitarian aid from entering the enclave.
