Journalist acquitted for calling French president’s wife a man
The Paris Court of Appeal has acquitted journalist Natacha Rey, who was convicted for stating that Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, was born a man, lawyer François Danglehant said in an X post.
“Natacha Rey’s victory over Brigitte and Jean-Michel Tronier: The Court of Appeal acquitted Natacha Rey,” he said.
As noted, Rey now intends to file a lawsuit against the French president’s wife, accusing her of fraud.
Earlier, American journalist Candace Owens, who claimed that Brigitte Macron is biologically a man, spoke about an unusual request from U.S. President Donald Trump. According to her, the U.S. president asked her not to discuss that topic.
