NATO welcomes joint statement by Armenia and Azerbaijan

I welcome the joint statement by Armenia and Azerbaijan on
the release of detainees. NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for
the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina made an X post on this.

“I welcome the joint statement by Armenia and Azerbaijan
announcing the mutual release of detainees, other confidence building measures
and a clear commitment to reach a long awaited peace deal.

NATO strongly supports these efforts and the normalization
of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Colomina wrote.
