Bicycle rides to hospital to deliver food to his pregnant wife in Artsakh
Zina Gasyan from Artsakh is expecting her second child. Since week 23 of pregnancy, she has been receiving inpatient treatment in Maternal And Child Health Protection Center of Artsakh. Zina’s husband rides his bicycle to the hospital three times a day to deliver food to his wife.
“Times are rough in Artsakh today. The reason for my condition is the current state of affairs in Artsakh. At 23 weeks pregnant, I had pains accompanied by tonus. Thus, I had to see my doctor, who suggested receiving inpatient treatment,” Zina Gasyan told ABC Media.
In fact, there is a shortfall in medical supplies.
“Medical care is subject to the medical supplies that the center has. On account of the total blockade, even the International Committee of the Red Cross is not able to deliver medical supplies to Artsakh. Problems that we face in our daily lives are all caused by the sheer lack of fuel,” she noted.
