The U.N. Security Council emergency session apparently
produced no results, which was not unpredictable. What happened at the U.N.
Security Council session?
The superpowers, namely Armenia’s strategic partner Russia
and the U.S. made sweeping statements. The representative of Russia said that
they are making every effort to quickly resolve the crisis.
The Artsakh issue was discussed at the U.N. Security Council
session. But in fact, the road remains blocked, and the world does not consider
Azerbaijan’s actions to be genocide. The only consolation that we can draw from
this session, is that none of the permanent members of the U.N. Security
Council announced that they recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.
