Wildfires raging across Spain

Wildfires continue to sweep through various parts of Spain, El País reports.

According to the newspaper, nearly 6,000 hectares have burned, including areas in communities near the capital, Madrid.

“The city of Tres Cantos has lived through a hellish day; due to the fires, residents of two neighborhoods adjacent to the city center were forced to evacuate,” the article states.

Thousands of people have been evacuated and were forced to spend the night outdoors.
