UK preparing new sanctions package against Russia

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that London is preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia, RIA Novosti writes, citing The Guardian.

Starmer made the statement following phone calls with leaders of the United States and Europe.

“We are ready to increase the pressure on Russia, particularly in the economic sphere, through sanctions, and, if necessary, through broader measures. The impact of these measures is evident, and the United Kingdom is preparing the next package of tough sanctions,” the British prime minister said.
