Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine and Azerbaijan have always supported each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“I highly appreciate the congratulations from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Ukraine’s Independence Day and his respect for Ukraine and its people.

Dear President, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have always supported each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We are very grateful to our friendly Azerbaijan for humanitarian and other forms of support. We look forward to the development of our strategic partnership for the benefit of our peoples,” Zelenskyy wrote.
