Russia targets EU diplomats damaging embassy building, says Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said a Russian strike on Kyiv damaged the building housing the EU delegation.

According to Sybiha, Russia deliberately targeted diplomats, calling it a direct violation of the Vienna Convention. “This must be condemned not only by the EU but by the entire international community,” he noted.

Ukraine expressed solidarity with EU representatives and pledged to provide necessary assistance.

Kyiv’s city military administration chief, Tymur Tkachenko, reported that the Russian strike left 12 people dead and 48 injured.
