
Azerbaijan’s foreign ministry reports damage to its embassy in Ukraine following Russian strike
Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, came under missile and drone attacks on Aug. 28 around 3 a.m. One of the missiles exploded near the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine, causing damage to the building, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada told APA.
According to reports, the explosion shattered several windows and caused cracks on the roof of the consular section of the embassy building.
“There have been no casualties among embassy staff. Our embassy continues its activities,” Hajizada said.
