
Russia’s Foreign Ministry considering opening consulates in Kapan, Aktau, and Samarkand
Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is exploring the possibility of opening consulates in Armenia’s Kapan, Kazakhstan’s Aktau, and Uzbekistan’s Samarkand, RIA Novosti reports, citing Alexey Klimov, Director of the ministry’s consular department.
“Currently, within the CIS region, we are examining the possibility of establishing Russian consular offices in Kapan, Aktau, and Samarkand,” Klimov said in response to a question about potential new consular missions.
